By booking a service with Detail Pals you agree to these terms. Detail Pals is a mobile auto detailing business operating in and around Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
1. Bookings and confirmations
All bookings submitted through https://www.detailpals.com/book are treated as requestsuntil Detail Pals confirms the appointment by phone, text, or email. Prices displayed are starting prices for sedans in average condition. Final pricing may be adjusted after we review the vehicle's size, condition, access requirements, and travel distance.
2. Cancellation and reschedule
- Cancellations more than 24 hours before service: no fee.
- Cancellations under 24 hours: a $30 short-notice fee may apply.
- Same-day no-show: half the estimated total may be charged.
- Detail Pals may reschedule due to weather or safety concerns without penalty.
3. Weather policy
Mobile detailing requires reasonable working conditions. Detail Pals reserves the right to reschedule due to heavy precipitation, severe cold (below −10°C without a garage), high winds, or unsafe air quality. We'll notify you as soon as possible.
4. Vehicle condition
Detail Pals is not responsible for pre-existing damage (chips, dents, cracked trim, worn paint, torn fabric). We do a walkaround inspection before service and will document any pre-existing issues. Please remove personal items and valuables before service. Detail Pals is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.
5. Access, water, and power
You are responsible for providing safe, legal, and reasonable access to the vehicle, along with water and power if the package requires it. If access is not available at the arrival time and cannot be resolved within 15 minutes, a $30 short-notice fee may apply.
6. Travel fees
$10 travel fee for service locations more than 30 km from Calgary; $20 travel fee for locations more than 50 km.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged in advance. Accepted methods are confirmed at booking. Estimates provided before service are non-binding until we complete the pre-service inspection.
8. Satisfaction guarantee
If any part of the completed service does not meet the described standard, contact Detail Pals within 48 hours. We will return to correct the issue at no additional cost where reasonable.
9. Liability
Detail Pals' total liability for any single service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
